Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries officially numbered badge

A scarce original early period circa 1930's 'Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries lapel badge'; large circular gilt example inlaid with green enamel, the centre displaying crowned gilt oval, bearing a tree to the top half and fish in water to the lower, divided by a wide title band, the reverse impressed with official low issue number '1624'. Very good condition, complete with original large pattern horseshoe style lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, minor service wear to gilt finish.
