WW2 National ARP Animals Chief Guard air raid precaution badge

A scarce original Second World War 1939 to 1945 period 'National Air Raid Precautions Animals CHIEF GUARD silver plated pin badge' bearing blue cross to the centre, the reverse with maker's details 'Vaughtons Ltd B'Ham' and impressed with very low official issue number '127'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. An excellent example.
