Voluntary Medical Service Medal unnamed

A scarce original full sized post 1960 late issue cupro-nickel unnamed 'Voluntary Medical Service 15 years long and efficient service medal bearing one clasps for 5 years of extra service. The obverse depicting a symbolic representation of Florence Nightingale holding an oil lamp, the reverse displaying the Geneva and St Andrew cross denoting the British Red Cross and St Andrew's Ambulance Corps (Scotland) organisations who issued the award. Very good clean unused condition, complete with original silk ribbon and suspension bar.
