Coronation of King George VI. Queen Elizabeth souvenir medal

A scarce original silver plated aluminium alloy souvenir medal, produced for the Coronation on May 12th 1937. The obverse with SCARCE uncrowned conjoined busts left and inscribed 'H.M.King George VI Queen Elizabeth'; the reverse stamped 'British Made' with embossed City of London Arms and scroll 'ASCENDED THRONE 11th DEC 1936' and inscibed 'To Commemorate The Coronation of King George VI. Queen Elizabeth MAY 12th 1937'. Very good clean condition, complete with red, white and blue silk ribbon with safety pin fitting.
