WW1 United Arts Volunteer Rifles VTC cap badge

A scarce original First World War period 'United Arts Volunteer Rifles cap badge'; large bronzed oval surmounted by a small Maltese cross, with in the centre an eagle grasping a sword in its beak, on red enamel background; the reverse impressed with maker's details in a recessed rectangle 'Partridge 59 Gt. Ormond St. W.C.' Good condition, complete with original slider fitting, enamel with surface flake loss to left side.
