Scottish Nursery Nurses Examination Board badge by Alexander & John Smith Aberdeen

A scarce original pre 1965 period example of a 'Scottish Nursery Nurses Examination Board SNNEB badge'; bronzed blue enamel title surround, surmounted by a blue and white enamel 'St Andrew Cross Flag' with central figures of mother and child; the reverse inscribed with recipient details 'Agnes H. Ewens' and official low issue number '910'. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel and housed in its original cardboard retailer's box with details 'A & John Smith (Jewellers) Ltd, 191 Union St. Aberdeen.'
