A scarce original Second World War 'Dennis Brothers Limited war service numbered identification badge'; chromium plated example inlaid with blue enamel bearing the very distinct logo and inscribed 'NATIONAL SERVICE'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Butler B'Ham' and official issue number '1706'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, enamel intact but with surface scatches.
