Peace Celebration 1919 Bethnal Green medal

A scarce original circa 1919 peace celebrations gilt brass medal, the obverse depicting the figure of a Britannia standing frontal with right hand holding an olive branch and left a dove, with 'Peace' over the symbol of a Trident between two dolphins, with allied nations around the edge, 'Britain, France, Italy, America, Belgium' with initial 'J.R.G' (J R Gaunt & Son); the reverse depicts the 'Coat of Arms of Bethnal Green' London, with scroll inscribed 'W.L.Lewis Mayor'. Very good condition, complete with rose boss suspension and pin fitting.
