Lord Castlereagh 7th Marquess of Londonderry 1906 general election campaign portrait badge

A scarce original circa 1906 period political celluloid tin button badge, in the form of a black and white portrait photographic disc, inscribed 'Lord Castlereagh' superimposed over a patriotic coloured Union Flag surround. Good condition, complete with original pin fitting, colour remains bright, normal rust for age to reverse.
Diameter 32mm.

Lord Castlereagh 7th Marquess of Londonderry stood for election to the House of Commons at the 1906 general election for Maidstone, he became Lord Privy Seal and Leader of the House of Lords.
