Robertsons pre war Golly Hockey Player badge circa 1936

A rare original pre-war circa 1936 'Robertson's Hockey Player Golly badge', displaying white hands and black feet, wearing a yellow V-neck waistcoat displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' and with green bar between feet; the reverse impressed in relief with a 'REGd 808465' a Registration, Design and Patent for the year 1936 and with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd Branston St B'Ham.18". Very good condition, complete with original coiled pin fitting and hooked catch, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example.
