Jewish Lads Brigade Brass Cap Badge

A scarce original early pattern 'Jewish Lads Brigade cap badge', die-stamped brass example, bearing "JLB" monogram within a laurel sprays. Very good condition, complete with original slider fitting.
Height 37mm.

The Jewish Lads Brigade was founded in 1895 by Albert Edward Goldsmid, their motto being 'They go from Strength to Strength'. In 1974 they amalgamated with the Jewish Girls Brigade to become the Jewish Lads and Girls Brigade (JLGB).
