King George V Royal visit to Edinburgh Scotland July 1911 pin badge

A very scarce original 'King George V Royal visit to Edinburgh July 1911 gilt badge' in the form of a Tudor rose inlaid with blue enamel with 'GvR' cypher and inscribed 'Edinburgh July 1911'; the reverse impressed with unusual maker's details 'Wilson & Sharp Edinburgh'. Very good condition,complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
