Cunard White Star Line officers gold bullion cap badge circa 1940

A rare original circa 1940's superb example 'Cunard-White Star Line Officer's cap badge', the Company coat of arms in gilt metal 'a lion holding a globe its hind leg resting upon a torse' within a padded King's Crown gold bullion wreath, the reverse with black hessian herringbone lining. Very good condition, bullion and gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example.
