WW1 Graylingwell War Hospital Voluntary War Service 1915 -1919 tribute badge

A scarce original circa 1919 period tribute badge, in the form of a gilt red enamel title surround 'Voluntary War Service 1915 -1919, the white enamel centre bearing blue shield with six Martlets, a mythical bird from the East Sussex County Coat of Arms, with additional title bar above 'Graylingwell War Hospital'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright. An excellent example.
