A good original circa pre-war 'Boys Brigade Arts & Crafts proficiency' die-cast nickel badge in the shape of an artist's palette with smooth background, hatched Bs and original vertical double coiled squeezed joint pin fitting and hooked catch. Very good condition and retaining red felt cloth backing, no sign of any moth, an excellent example.
Height 30mm.

The red felt cloth 'Advanced Certificate Award' was introduced in 1933.
