A scarce original ladies '1949 Newbury Racecourse horse racing club badge', gilt and enamel example with official low issue number '51', the reverse impressed with maker's details 'W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd B'Ham' and 'Issued Subject To The Rules of Racing'. Very good condition, complete with both sets of pin fittings, enamel intact, gilt finish remains bright.
