King George V & Queen Mary 1934 opening of Mersey Tunnel commemorative medal

A good original souvenir commemorative badge for the the 'Royal Opening of the Mersey Tunnel 18th July 1934', in the form of an alloy medal, the obverse depicting a representation of the tunnel with four lanes showing both backs and fronts of a cars and vans and inscribed 'Presented By The Mersey Tunnel Joint Committee'; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'T.Fattorni Ld B'Ham' with the Liverpool City Coat of Arms and Birkenhead Coat of Arms either side of a plaque inscribed 'Opened by His Majesty King George V Accompanied By Her Majesty The Queen 18 July 1934.'. Very good condition, complete with suspension style pin fitting.
