British Red Cross Society BRCS Welsh County of Radnor badge

A rare original early period 'British Red Cross Society County of Radnor gilt and enamel badge', the reverse with maker's details 'J.R Gaunt London' and impressed with recipient's name and number '41777 J.Jorden'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fitting, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
Height 49mm.

The British Red Cross Society County or Branch badge was Instituted in 1911 and Discontinued in 1956.
