A scarce original superb quality 'Girl Guides Trefoil Promise gold badge', bearing fretted star to the top leaf and title scroll below, the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1934, maker's details 'J.A.Wylie & Co London' 'Regd No 671782' a registered, design and patent date of 1919. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety catch in good working order, minimal wear, an excellent example with applied additional gold plated safety chain.
