WW1 5th Battalion King's Liverpool Regiment silver war badge

A good original First World War period 'Silver War Badge officially issue numbered '324513' awarded to '201091 Rifleman Arthur Jones'; unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.
Diameter 33mm.

Awarded to 201091 Rifleman Arthur Jones, who enlisted into the King’s Liverpool Regiment on the 7th January 1915. He landed in France after the 1st January 1916 and was awarded the British War Medal and Victory Medal only. He was discharged and awarded the Silver War Badge on the 17th December 1917 at that time on the books of the 5th Bn King’s Liverpool Regiment
