A scarce original superb quality 'Girl Guides Trefoil gold promise badge', bearing fretted star to the top leaf and plain scroll below, the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1921, maker's details 'JAW&Co' (J.A.Wylie & Co London) 'Regd No 671782' a registered, design and patent date of 1919. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, the hooks additional safety catch now absent but still functioning normally, an excellent example.
