Western Australia Nurses Registration Board Badge

A good original pre 1968 period 'Nurses Registration Board Western Australia chromium plate and enamel badge' bearing a black swan to voided centre; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Sheridan Perth' and inscribed to the recipient 'Taylor I.M. HQ 16574'. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, no damage to the enamel.
Height 27mm.

'Nurses Registration Board' was established under the Nurses Registration Act of 1921, changing its name to 'Nurses Board of Western Australia' in circa 1968.
