EIIR Royal Observer Corps ROC pin badge

A good original early post 1953 cold war period small silver plated badge, with pale blue enamel title circlet 'Forewarned is Forearmed' 'Royal Observer Corps', surmounted by a Queen's Crown, the centre depicting an Elizabethan coastwatcher holding a flaming torch and scanning the horizon. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
