British Overseas Airways Corporation ground staff BOAC numbered pin badge

A scarce original circa 1940's period, possibly wartime 'British Overseas Airways Corporation badge'; large circular example in the form of a red, white and blue enamel roundel, bearing gilt BOAC 'Speedbird logo' across the centre, the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St. Birmingham' and impressed with official issue number '4141'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, minimal service wear.
