WW2 London Midland Scottish Railway LMS war service PIN badge D71764

A scarce original early Second World War period 'London Midland & Scottish Railway war service brass and enamel badge', with original pin fittings normally associated with badges worn by women, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham' (a manufacturers mark used between 1933 and 1939) and official issue number 'D71764'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
