Queens Institute of District Nursing 9 carat gold badge

A rare original 'Queen's Institute of District Nursing solid gold badge', displaying 'Queen Victoria Imperial Cypher' in enamel to voided centre, the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1937, maker's details 'JRG&S' (J.R.Gaunt & Son) and inscribed 'Rose A.Rutter For 21 Years Service'. Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
