Royal Navy HMS Maidstone ships crest silver badge
A scarce original circa 1940's 'Royal Navy H.M.S. Maidstone silver bar brooch', the naval crowned ships crest inlaid with red and white enamelling and mounted on a slender bar, very typical of the period, the reverse impressed 'Silver'. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.

Royal Navy HMS Maidstone was a submarine depot ship, built by 'John Brown & Company, Clydebank, Scotland' and launched in 1937. after a long and varied career, she was scrapped in 1978.
