Boy Scouts Rover Scoutmaster officers silver hat badge

A very scarce original 1st pattern circa 1928 'Rover Scoutmaster officer's hat badge', silver arrowhead in circle, enamel 'R.S' instead of the normal stars, 'Be Prepered' scroll; the reverse impressed 'Silver, maker's details 'Collins London' and registered, design and patent number Rd 535292' for the year 1909. Very good clean condition, complete with correct single bauble to the top, one of two baubles below and retaining both original flat 'D' loops, bristle plume now absent.
