A scarce original circa 1936 period fine quality Scottish 'Stobhill Glasgow Hospital nurses qualification badge' bearing the Latin motto 'Protecere et Sustinere' (Protect and Sustain), the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1936, maker's details 'E&C' (Elkington & Co) and inscribed to the recipient 'I.Kennedy 31.5.38.'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, minor enamel flaws and surface scatches.
