Midland Air Charter airline pilot's wing badge

A scarce original circa 1948 to 1969 period 'Midland Air Charter officers' pilot wing badge', black felt example bearing gold bullion embroidered wings, the central circle bearing silver wire letters 'MAC', the reverse with black paper lining. Very good used condition, bullion remains bright, removed from uniform.
Width approx 90mm.

'Midland Air Charter' was formed in 1948, it was purchased by 'British Air Link' in 1969 to form 'British Midland'.
