Royal Navy HMS Repulse ships crest silver badge

A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Royal Navy H.M.S. Repulse ships crest badge silver bar brooch', the crest inlaid with blue enamelling and mounted on a slender bar, the reverse impressed 'Silver'. Good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with minor defects.

Royal Navy HMS Repulse was a Renown-class battlecruiser, built by 'John Brown & Company, Clydebank, Scotland' and launched in 1916. She was sunk on 10 December 1941 by Japanese air attack off Kuantan.
