Primrose League badge ladies Victorian pin brooch

A very scarce original Victorian period very unusual delicately made badge from four parts, in the form of a small Crowned strap bearing the legend 'Imperium Et Libertas' (Empire and liberty), the centre mounted with single yellow primrose and leaves. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact.
