Redditch Road and Path Cycling Club badge by Vaughtons Ltd Birmingham

A scarce original circa 1930's period 'Redditch Road & Path Cycling Club badge', large gilt brass shield inlaid with green translucent enamel, depicting a spur within a pair of wings on torse, tri part white enamel title scroll below; the reverse impressed with late maker's details 'Vaughtons Ltd B'Ham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
