Daily Sketch Newspaper childrens club tin button elephant badge

A scarce original circa 1920's period 'Daily Sketch Birthday Club membership celluloid tin button badge' blue and white example with gold title surround, the centre displaying a head of a facing Elephant. Very good clean condition, complete with original pin fitting, no sign of any foxing, an excellent example.
Diameter 26mm.

The Daily Sketch was a British national tabloid newspaper founded in Manchester in 1909 by Sir Edward Hulton. In 1971 it was closed and merged with the Daily Mail.
