WW1 Shrewsbury Special Constable police badge

A very scarce original First World War period 'Shrewsbury Special Constable police lapel badge', gilt brass blue enamel oval title, bearing 'the loggerheads' (three leopards faces) from the 'County Arms' to voided centre, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Fattorini & Sons Ltd Bradford Works Birmingham'. Good condition, complete with original buttonhole horseshoe fitting, enamel loss in the 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock position, gilt finish remains bright.
