WW1 East Lancashire Regiment silver war badge
A good original First World War period 'Silver War Badge officially issue numbered 'B33401', awarded to '200664 Sergeant Joseph Lowe of the East Lancashire Regiment'; unmarked silver circlet inscribed 'For King And Empire Services Rendered' bearing crowned 'GRI' Imperial Cypher to voided centre. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings.

Silver War Badge B33401 was awarded to 200664 Sergeant Joseph Lowe of the East Lancashire Regiment. He enlisted on the 8th October 1914. He landed in France after the 1st January 1916 and is entitled to the British War Medal and Victory. He was discharged with the issue of the Silver War Badge on the 29th October 1918.
