WW1 British Bulldog Union Jack Flag patriotic silver badge

A rare original First World War period patriotic badge, in the form of a defiant British Bulldog standing proud with red, white and blue enamelled 'Union Flag' between his teeth; the reverse impressed 'Silver', maker's details 'JW' and 'REGd 644039' a Registered Design and Patent Date for 1915. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings and old replacement hook, enamel with minor service wear.
