WW2 Royal Air Force pilot's wing RAF salvaged aircraft perspex badge

A good original Second World War period sweetheart brooch, handcrafted from a piece of salvaged perpex from a fighter aircraft and made into the form of a pilot's wing using parts from a RAF brass button to enhance the centre, possibly sold to raise funds for the war effort. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings now a little rusty.
