BOAC Airline Radio Officer gilt brevet uniform badge

A rare original circa 1940's early issue 'British Overseas Airways Corporation Radio Officer badge', gilded brass brevet wing, central 'R' inlaid with blue enamel and surmounted by 'BOAC Astral Crown'. Very good condition, retaining original two loop fittings complete with split pin, enamel perfect, gilt remains bright.
