1924 British Empire Exhibition Wembley London participants badge
A scarce original gilded brass badge inlaid with red, white and blue enamels, in the form of a flower head, depicting the names of the Colonies from around the world participating in the exhibition in petal form with rotating hand as a pointer, mounted by the 'Wembley Lion' resting on curved scrolls "British Empire Exhibition" with year '1924' below; the reverse impressed with details in relief 'Prov.Patent No 8418/24'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, minor wear to gilt finish.
