Ashington Sailors & Soldiers Great War welcome home tribute medallion watch fob

A good original circa 1919 unnamed Great War Tribute medal for the returned 'Ashington Town Sailors & Soldiers' Northumberland once the centre of the coal mining industry. The obverse within a laurel wreath titled circlet an embossed scene of a kneeling Soldier aiming his rifle and Sailor peering through his telescope, with a mine pithead in the background; the reverse impressed 'SILVER' and with unusual maker's details 'Ce & Fd Ld' (Constantine & Floyd Ltd Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original suspension ring.
