WW1 The Discharged Sailors and Soldiers Club fundraiser badge

A scarce original Great War period 'The Discharged Sailors and Soldiers Club fundraiser badge' in the form of a red, white and blue enamelled 'Union Jack' on flagstaff, the deeply embossed gilt center displaying a Crowned anchor and crossed rifle within laurel sprays and suspended from a simple curly ended pin bar; the reverse impressed with early maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Bolton'. Very good condition, no stress marks or damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.
