Freemasonry Masonic Stewards lapel badge
A scarce original circa 1898 to 1908 period 'Masonic Stewards lapel badge', large gilded brass ornate circular example, inlaid with white enamel, gilt bar across the centre inscribed 'STEWARD'; the reverse with early form of lapel fitting impressed 'Toye. 57 Theobalds Rd. London'. Very good condition, original slider buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, git finish remains bright.
Height of front 31mm.
In 1898 the expanding Masonic section of 'Toye' manufactures opened its showrooms at '57 Theobalds Road London', they became 'Toye & Co' in circa 1908.
