Royal Air Force RAF prize medal Cricket Christmas Island 1960

An interesting orignal circa 1960's period 'Royal Air Force prize medal'; a very attractive silver plated example bearing embossed laurel wreath surround, decorated with three sets of enamel stripes in RAF colours, the central disc displaying a post 1953 'Per Ardva Ad Astra' eagle badge, the reverse inscribed 'Cricket Christmas Island 1960'. Very good clean condition, enamel perfect, silver plating remains bright.
