A rare original complete example of an Edward VII period 'Life Boat Saturday Fund' charity fundraiser's badge; pressed gilt metal in the shape of a lifeboat with full crew and 'L.B.S. 1907' title below, suspended from its original patriotic red, white and blue striped ribbon with ornamental bars and single central pin fitting, the reverse impressed 'J.R.Gaunt London'. Excellent condition for an antique badge of this age.
