1882 Kempton Park Racecouse horse racing club badge

A rare original Victorian '1894 Kempton Park horse racing club badge'; large silver plated example in the form of a star, the central circle depicting the 'KP' monogram on lined ground; the reverse impressed with official issue number '469'. Good condition, original blue silk ribbon now absent.
Height 49mm.


Kempton Park, Sunbury-on-Thames opened for horse racing in 1878.
