Nazareth Hospital EMMS Edinburgh Medical Missionary Society badge ISRAEL

A good original circa 1960's 'The Nazareth Hospital EMMS nurses chromium plated enamel badge' the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Emslie Edinburgh'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings with safety roller catch in good working order, no damage to the enamel.
Diameter 30mm.

In 1861 Dr Pacradooni Kaloost Vartan trained by the 'Edinburgh Medical Missionary Society' arrives in Nazareth.
In 1924 The new hospital officially opens and the Nazareth School of Nursing is launched.
