A rare original pre war 'Robertson's Warwick County Club cricketer Golly badge', wearing a yellow waistcoat, displaying the advertising slogan 'Golden Shred' and resting on an 'Warwick' scroll, the reverse impressed in relief with maker's details 'H.W.Miller Ltd B'Ham.18' 'Regd Appd'. Good condition, complete with original coiled pin fittings and hook catch, enamel perfect except for his trousers that have heavy stress marks and enamel loss to lower left leg, due to having being twisted and bowed, gilt remains bright.
