A scarce original post 1953 period 'Cyclists Touring vintage bicycle badge' gilded example with an applied enamel 'Royal Badge of Wales' with crowned motto riband crest 'Y DDRAIG GOCH DDYRY CYCHWYN (the red dragon inspires action). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
Width 46mm.

This pattern of Royal Badge was adopted In 1953.
