London Transport railway staff motorman's cap badge circa 1964 by Gaunt

A scarce original circa 1964 period 'London Transport chromium plated motorman's cap badge' inlaid with ochre enamel and depicting the early feature dashes, the reverse impressed with maker's details in relief 'R.Gaunt'. Very good condition, complete with original two loop fittings and split pin, no damage to the enamel.
Height 36mm.

Worn by train drivers and automatic train operators, staff such as shunters, traincheckers and depot gatekeepers.
